Abstract


The problem of this research was to prove the relationship implementations using TRIZ in innovation to product quality. Innovation is affected by intellectual property and new ideas. Innovation is the key to global competitiveness. Innovation spread and enlarged through market competition. Intellectual property rights such as patents and copyrights (design) encourages companies to seize the division higher than the results of research conducted by investment companies. Intellectual property rights stimulate new technological development. Maintaining the quality of the innovation is a great challenge for companies and other stakeholders in the innovation process. The objective(s) of this research was proving the relationship between product innovation to product quality, intellectual property to product innovation, and new ideas to product innovation in automotive product components two wheels (2W). Finding and contribution in this research that new ideas and intellectual property can be developed on a massive scale as an engine of innovation and sustainability for the development of automotive components 2W. Research limitation/implication in this research only done in one department at Engineering Development Company Engineering Development Center Division.
