Abstract

The research conducted is to simplify speech recognition which aims to recognize the influence of consonants to vowels by utilizing the information surrounding the speech consonants and vowels. Methods used in building the voice recognition system is based on consonants that have been influenced by the vocal using FCC (Frequency Cepstrum coefficients) and SVM (Support Vector Machine). Research carried out by recording the consonant sounds that have influenced vocals. Results from the study showed that consonant sounds that have influenced vocals can be recognized visually through the image signal, the frequency of which is obtained and the results of the correlation coefficient obtained from each of the consonant sounds that have influenced vocals also showed different values and determine how much influence the sound consonant to vowel.
